AGENDA ITEM: Forming of an issue among US – Iran and preventing possible conflicts

The Security Council, one of the six pricipal organs of the UN, is empowered with international peace and security. The council’s five permanent and ten elected members meet regularly to assess threats to international security, addressing issues that include civil wars, natural disasters, arms control, and terrorism. Since 1945 the organ has been actively processing.In this conference we are issueing the tensions between US and Iran to the core. The escalating political and military tensions between the United States and Iran have reached the top of the world agenda. The current crisis erupted in early May when US President Donald Trump lured warships into the region following “intelligence” that “Iran is conducting an attack in the Middle East.” The U.S. pulled out of the nuclear deal with Iran, imposed heavy sanctions, an embargo on oil imports from Iran, and recently a Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organisation.  Qasem Soleimani was killed in a U.S. operation in Baghdad. After Soleimani’s death, back-to-back threatening messages came from both countries. In this complicated process, the thoughts of the 3rd World War began to take place.
