AGENDA ITEM: External relations of the European Union

European Council is the main organ that decides on the EU’s overall direction and political priorities, deals with complex or sensitive issues, sets the EU’s common foreign & security policy. European council’s members are heads of state or government of EU countries, European Council President, European Commission President. In this conference we are issueing the international relations of the EU. The European Union’s action on the international scale is guided by the principles that inspired its own creation, development and enlargement, and which are also embedded in the United Nations Charter and international law. The European Union’s foreign relations with other countries are important for the promotion of human rights and democracy by that EU develops itself commercially and politically. It also supports development, cooperation and political dialogue within countries.
